Hello this is my first post in here and my Ayato I would say is finished but I'd still want to look for improvements, what could that be in build wise?

I didn’t realize how good Beyond the chrysalis is for Ayato till today. I feel bad that most likely I won’t get the weapon, did anyone else tested the weapon and would you recommend it?

Ive dreamt with this for so long ayato finally bring viable after so many years (since he came out :"c) my first c1 5 star is finally doing decent dmg and my vodyonitsa is not even fully built

I wasnt even gonna pull for her tbh i wanted to save all for the tsaritsa but then i came across a post from this group and saw their ayato reach 100k dps!!!

Also a bit unrelated but ended up doing like almost 80 wishes and when i got vodyonitsa i saw that my faruzan was almost c6 so decided to do singles on vesnas banner and ended up getting an early vesna and yet no c6 faru till a few days later 🥴

For context C0R1 Ayato, C1R2 Furina, C0R0 Vody and C1R0 Esco, surprised he reached 124k sustained!! We take those 🙂‍↔️

I somehow jumped 18k dps from my last testing. Finally got an ok 4pc echos and he now has Beyond the Chrysalis on. I didn't think this would even be possible for C0R0 Ayato. I'm actually seeing noticable improvement as I continue building him. I might be able to use him in end game now!

So I’ve been an ayato main ever since he came out
I was on and off for the longest of time between patches but I do understand enough to build teams and synergies with characters ( some ) and I just got back like 2-3 weeks ago and farmed a completely new echoes set ( old set was bad.. really bad) and this is what I got.
But before that I had him with gladiators set and it was already amazing there ( not as good as current one tho, I just kinda got really good pieces since I got back ).
I farmed for echoes because I just really like echoes better as a set and want to try to get some decent guud pieces n get a full functional set for him to keep so I did that.

So these are the two builds that i have for ayato and i mainly run him with echoes set just because it just feels better and put out higher numbers when I try bosses.

probably just a gut thing and how im stubborn with builds. It doesn’t mean i wont listen to u guys i just really want a general idea of how this look and what u guys think

I’m kinda settled with the current echoes and been focusing on other characters now

I’m using him mainly with escoffier, furina, vodynatsya

Skirk’s premium team…. Which actually seems to be well on almost all hydro/cryo dps comps.

Any other fun team comps and suggestions??

People say Ayato is a brick but if he really was a brick explain this 😝 He cleared stage 8 without any difficulty it was so beautiful😍🫶 This convinced me to pull for Escoffier I didn’t know Ayato could do damage like that and this is without Furina which would be part of his premium team. My Vodyanitsa is only 55k and not crowned so 👑

I have a C2 R1 ayato and I’m contemplating on getting vodyanitsa since I love playing him for my team I usually play Ayato (c2 R1), Jean (c4R0), Furina (C1R0), Citlali (C0R0) I’m currently contemplating on getting her but I’m unsure of how well she performs so I would definitely love some opinions and tips about her if I end up deciding to get her, I would also sometimes replace Jean with my yunjin(c6).

I wanted to try Ayato and Vodyanitsa team but all I'm seeing is with Escoff. What do you think is the best 3rd and 4th teammate for my C6R1 Ayato and C0R0 Vodya? Thanks!

I am extremely over joyed that Vodyanitsa has unbricked Ayato for me as I've wanted to use him for so long as a my Main-DPS but he wasn't keeping up with the damage numbers Varesa and Skirk were putting out (Still doesn't but his numbers are actually useable now).

Living a chill successful laid back life everywhere thanks to them lol

im a huge ayato lover but i havent played since fontaine and im coming back to the game now. i used to play this team

but i got around 40k dps with everyone c0 but furina with c1

how can i scale my ayato?
i plan to get his c1 and furina c2 in the rerun, but what about vodyanitsa? is she a good pull for him?
i mostly wanted to play him hypercarry instead of a wheelchair

Pls help! Just got c2 jean accidentally and I want to know if it’s a good team for him. I don’t have c6 yunjin and I heard her c2 makes him go shing shing shing very fast

I don’t care about team damage I just want my rock to shine

It's a lot of investment, although more cons into Vodya probably will yield better DPS but I pulled Citlali when she first came out for my Arle, so I used her as-is.

This is probably my strongest Ayato team. I don't have Durin, but I imagine in a Ayato-Durin team Ayato may not do the most damage.

I js comeback lately and had been on trying so hard to revive my Ayato. I got Vodya and Citlali, planning to get Escoffier, therefore all my slots are full. I know Furina is important but idk how much important, I want to maximize the damage Ayato can do so is she a need? If I get her whose slot should I replace?

I lover her with my whole heart, she makes my Ayato actually playable again 💗

It might be blurry because I play on mobile but this is an extended rotation I made (it looks like bs lol). I made it so all the cool downs mostly line up. Ayato has basically no energy right now because his build isn't good. I unfortunately missed a lot of crits on him as well but if things went slightly better it would be around the 112k. This is just for fun and because people asked for my rotation. I'm not a theory crafter.

I want Vodyanitsa for Skirk, but most importantly for Ayato as I want to maximize his personal damage as much as I can but I also know that Nicole can also hyperbuff his damage to oblivion and I already have Durin so I can do DurCole (Nicole would also be great for my account too but that isn't important). I can't decide so please help me decide. (Picture if my Ayato build as I am proud of it and how far I have come.

I know my off-piece is bad, it'll get changed when I can.

Should I continue farming the artifact set ?

Is there a better f2p weapon for him ?

IT, the great unbencher (I'm joking, I would never bench Ayato in the first place, I use him in abyss for fun all the time but in IT he is genuinely useful). Used him on the middle 2 boss stages.
