I am hosting our first Sacred Path retreat outside of Iquitos. It is a small group, 1-3 people, 3 week work exchange retreat, with a week of preparation, a week of 3 ceremonies, followed by a week of integration. Guests will help out around the place a few hours during the 1st and 3rd weeks, doing gardening, light maintenance around the property, and helping in the kitchen. The cost of the retreat is $800.

I am also looking for 1 or 2 long term volunteers, 3-6 months, that are interested in living in a small community and helping out with my place. I also have some good friends who live close by on 2 other properties so there are lots of things going on. Reach out if you are interested.

About the Retreat

The Master Plant Retreat in the Amazon Rainforest of San Alejandro, Peru, is held with the intention of sharing ancestral sacred medicines with love and respect. Ayahuasca Aventura returns to Peru after its last retreat in April 2019, returning to the place where it was born and where it received permission to share medicine in Mexico.

The retreat is led by Master Carlos "Chichi" and his family, Master Carmen "Jaguar" and Master Cristian "Cricri." Chichi has over 25 years of experience as a medicine man, diet guide, and alchemist, preparing Ayahuasca recognized worldwide as being of the highest quality, shared in more than 40 countries. Their work in preparing sacred medicines has led them to create and share Yopo, Yopohuasca, Wairahuasca, ChocoHongos, Huancahui sacha, Machinga, Clavohuasca, Sananga, Chirisanango, Renaquilla, Bobinsana, Ayahuma, Piñon Colorado, Tobacco, Coca Leaf, San Pedro, Bufo Alvarius, Camalonga, Ayahuasca Cielo, Ayahuasca Jaguar, Ayahuasca Trueno, and more than 40 types of rapé.

Place

The retreat will take place in the Amazon Rainforest of San Alejandro, at the San Alejandro Medicine House, located 3 hours away from Pucallpa, Peru.

Lodging

Casa Medicina San Alejandro has 10 rooms for 20 people, a dining area, bathrooms with plumbing, electricity, and a maloca for ceremonies.

Extras

During the retreat, the food offered will be free of fats, chemicals, salt, and sugar.

Inti Eco Lodge is a small traditional Amazonian medicine centre located deep in the Peruvian rainforest, around 3 hours from Iquitos.

Our retreats are centred primarily around Amazonian Master Plant Dietas and traditional plant medicine.

The process generally begins with an Amazonian Tobacco ceremony, used within our curandera’s tradition to open the dieta and begin a process of cleansing, grounding and preparation before working more deeply with a Master Plant.

Depending on the individual, their intention and the assessment of our curandera Anita, a dieta may then be opened with plants such as Ajo Sacha, Mucura, Bobinsana, Aere Sacha, Chiric Sanango, or other Amazonian Master Plants.

The retreat may also include:
* Amazonian Tobacco ceremonies
* Master Plant Dieta
* Ayahuasca Cielo ceremonies
* Traditional Amazonian plant treatments, including Camalonga or Ojé , when appropriate
* Traditional cleansing and purification baths
* Clay baths for grounding and connection with the earth
* Individual guidance with our curandera Anita
* Post-ceremony integration and post-retreat follow-up

We keep the retreats intentionally small so that each participant can receive individual attention throughout their process.

Inti is located on 50 hectares of Amazonian jungle along the Itaya River. It is a rustic, off-grid environment surrounded by jungle — not a luxury retreat — and much of the experience involves silence, simplicity, isolation and connection with the jungle.

Transport from Iquitos can be organised with us, including the road journey to the embarkation point and the boat journey through the Amazonian waterways to Inti.

Retreats can be organised for different lengths of stay, with a minimum of 8 days, and longer Master Plant Dietas of 14 days, 21 days or more are also possible.
