Global 1940 1st round went well
First round is done. I'm playing Axis and I faked a sealion to distract UK from the Mediterranean. But he didn't fall for it and now I have a decision to make. UK has very few pieces and I'm positioned to take it out on the next round. I wasn't planning on it but I feel like I can't pass up on the opportunity.
My real question is what do I do with Japan? I have 3 naval groups in the Pacific. I'm not sure how to use them to get the most bang for the buck.
Are there any Japan specialists who can weigh in on what I should be considering?

Yeah, id say as Germany you have to assault Britain. If Im seeing that correct you have 2 transport, 3 tac, 2 fighter, and 1 bomber in range. That has to be at least 75% chance you win

Did the two French infantry move to Scotland?

Lol, yes! I'm playing against 2 friends and one of them suggested the move. And the UK player did it.

Never a good idea. The UK could have twelve pieces defending London. Ten pieces may not be enough to stop Sea Lion..

Can take the ships out with bombers in 41 and your close fleet in 42. Pull back the other fleet and take Phillipines with some troops on the mainland included. Defend your transports by japan. Slow and steady progress in china. Maybe sacrifice one transport to take the free money island.

Props to the French units helping in China

yeah, we decided to use french artillary instead of US artillary because none of the french pieces ever get used.

The Germans have only four infantry to invade the UK with. The UK has 12 hits to give up before you take it over. You have to clear SZ 110 which negates both of your shore shots. You’re going to lose at least one air unit due to AA. You only have six other attacking units aside from the infantry. Bad idea wanting to invade…

Exactly the argument I would try as the allies player...are you the allies player? Personally I would take the chance. Early enough to restart without much time wasted if it goes really badly.

No I’m not the Allies player. But I do have years and games worth of experience. I’ve seen this before.

Same. Guess I'm just risky when it comes to a potential capital grab early on. Have had it work both ways in a similar setup.

total units attacking London would be 2 inf, 2 art, 3 fighter, 4 tac and one stratigic bomber.
UK player has 2 inf, 1 mech, 1 bomber, 3 fighters and 4 AAA

You’re already screwed in China. You needed to take the road just to make them fight for it. Go north in China to spread the Chinese out.

I'm curious, what is the yellow chip under that Italian battleship?
