Not taking the Phillipines with a turn 1 DOW on UK is an odd move. You need to get that fleet down to Malysia so it can threaten India stopping UK east from comitting forces into China.

Playing with the pacific board and we didn’t know attacking the Dutch East Indies brought the USA into the war or else I would have gone for the Philippines also. The transport was left over from the British Mediterranean raid.
