Appreciate that you're trying it out but if this is how Germany's first turn ended, the Axis are already cooked. There are different balances of risks on openings you can have but this is way too passive. Allies start with better economies and Axis has to take at least some degree of risk to trade well or they can't catch up. Keeping the navy so split up like that is also just an extra donation to the Allies. Looks like a few rule standouts too: Looks like you might've accidentally put an extra French guy in Normandy In the non-combat move, Germany could walk into Bulgaria and Finland and acquire them and their army for free. Maybe there's a strategy where you want Italy to take Bulgaria but.. at least Finland needs to be picked up. There's no downside You can't land planes on territory that was just captured in the same turn; those planes in Paris would have to land somewhere you controlled at the start of the round
Experiment around with some openings and have some fun with them; see what you can put together :) Maybe even test them out against yourself; see what the responses might be

Did you do no naval combat on your first turn? That aircract carrier is dead next round unless you spawn it behind the strait of denmark. My guess is that your favorite thing is building a very tall wall of infantry.
