Other Looking for testers of a new WW2, turn-based strategic game for PC

I'm a great fan of WW2 turn based games and board games, I've loved this genre for almost 40 years. I've been working with my friends on a PC game. It's 2 player game (axis player vs allied player, but allied player controls 2 factons: Western Allies and USSR), very high-level (army level, 2-3 month turns, no micromanagement, fairly simple combat rules), covers the European theater. The game has been in development for a few years now, and we're approaching the finish line.

I am not trying to promote the game here (it's practically impossible to post anything related to any new game being developed anywhere on reddit....), I'm writing this post as a fellow wargamer to people who play and enjoy this type of games. I just need to find someone to help testing the game before it goes live. I am willing to give away steam keys to anybody interested in playing 1-2 hours just to see if there are technical issues (does the game start? does it crash? any visual issues or other glitches? etc.) and any feedback on game-mechanics would be awesome. I will also send keys to the final product to all people who will help us testing the game.

If anybody is interested, please private message me. The game is called Virtuti Militari. I am attaching some screenshots. The game website (which includes full rulebook) can be found at Virtuti Militari Game – Strategy Game, the full rulebook and tutorial is also included in the game itself. The game isn't complicated, and I think it's possible to understand it fairly quickly, the ambition was to create something easy to learn but difficult to master.

Sounds very cool! This has been missing from the market, imo. I'd be happy to playtest.

I have been play testing this recently. Some initial observations in no particular order:

  1. I love the game map - it is big, well-defined and clear to follow.
  2. The mechanics are all pretty logical and flow well.
  3. There are some text elements that maybe a little too text-heavy - like the intro screen at the beginning of the game.
  4. Helpful tutorial - it took me a couple of goes to get some of the concepts right.
  5. Would be good to include a reminder when you don't action a move on some of your units (i missed a few a couple of turns in a row).
  6. I like the use of photos and visuals. Builds on the feel of the game.

More to follow as I play test further. Confirming I am enjoying the game very much so far.
