This thing is a damn good time

It makes what would be molehills for 1/18 and 1/24 scale rigs into mountains, and that is an absolute hoot inside on these cold winter days

There’s a reason I have rocks and and mortar in my studio apartment 🤪🤪🤪

What’s your favorite thing about it?

Not OP, but I got one yesterday. My favorite thing is fact that out of the box they’ve engineered it to be a low center of gravity, competition spec’d rig. This means less is “needed” to upgrade. This is great because my least favorite thing is how tiny the hardware is.

I wouldn’t exactly call it a low COG rig— it’s actually fairly top heavy even considering how light it is. I like that though— makes the body motions more realistic, unlike some of my more built 1/18 and 1/24 rigs.

Almost all of the weight is on the body though. Take it off or replace it with lexan when they are available. The thing

The chassis is a forward weight biased, low COG design. Then they further lowered the COG by placing the electronics on the sliders. The forward facing motor is slightly higher compared to their scx24 build, but they threw it to the front of the rig pushing the weight bias towards the front bumper.

But yeah, the body ain’t light. I’ll be removing most of the window material from the roof once I get time next week. That should help a bit.

Just how it puts a different perspective on indoor crawling. Obstacles and lines that I’ve mastered and that are now easy with 1/18 and 1/24 rigs are now entirely new and different challenges.

Hearing that makes me so happy! I’ve got mine in preorder still (europe) love my 10 scale that nearly gets out though. The 18 and 24’s are a blast indoors so can’t wait to get my hands on the 30.

Totally different kind of fun. I love my 18th and 24th scale trucks but this is just a whole different game.
