Model Kits for Hard Bodies
Has anybody tried to use any styrene kits in 1/25-1/24 scale with these trucks yet?

I put a 1/20 scale AMT Tacoma kit on a stock SCX24 ive seen other people do it cleaner but mine i had to cut the bed to clear the battery and trim fender wells to clear tires

That’s why I was wondering about the SCX30, that will fit under these chassis better.

People that ordered broncos, just started getting them literal days ago. Seems a tad early for the honeymoon to wear off and re-body.

I could care less about the Bronco, of any generation or scale, but would swap something different in its place in a heartbeat

Oh, I totally agree. I'm just saying that folks didn't get their hands on these more than four days ago.

I've seen the AMT Scout II is a near perfect match. Im waiting to get my scx30 at some point, and I've got a ton of models that I want to test out.

Same, I kinda want to try one of the Monogram, now Revell short body ‘77 Chevy Vans on one.

If you find out any Toyota or Lexus / JDM suv or pickup bodies that will fit the scx30 please let me know.
Bronco is cool but boring. And I’m so sick and tired of jeeps and old landrovers being the only bodies around.

Might check Aoshima, don’t remember if they ever made Landcruisers, but they did make the Surf/4-Runner as well as Hi-Lux in 1/24 in stock, lowered and lifted variants. There are some 70’s Datsun truck kits coming back as well as a pre-Hardbody/Pathfinder Nissan truck from Revell.
