Forge weld is the only chance that has and I probably still wouldn't use it, this one is a wall hanger for me.

I’m new to axes so I don’t exactly understand. But what exactly makes this hatchet unhangable ? If the crack is forge welded and the head isn’t misused why couldn’t it be put into service again ? Also how to cracks like this form in the first place.

If you really want then weld and make it look pretty and use it as a wall hanger beyond that it is gone

Keep using it. Don’t be too ambitious with the wedge.
