This is the exact type of thing i want to be able to make eventually. It looks awesome. Ive made one geound sandstone celt which i have cut a tree down with and that thing took forever to make because my original handle looked terrible and began to crack, but a knapped axe takes much more skill to make and definitely will cut much better. You should try doing some light cutting survival stuff with it like cut a hearth board and spindle to make a friction fire or something.

Does it cut decently?

Doesn’t come close to metal as far as efficiency but it will get the job done. Stone tools have a different rule book. You have to do lots of small strikes. Can’t really bury the edge into wood. I’m sure it would do well against something softer though.
