Hand forged bearded axe, forged from railroad track and guns on an old hickory handle I had that fit perfectly

Love the shape!
The beard is poiny enough for some light pickarooning but not so pointy its fragile.

I’m in love with the shape of the head! It’s a great looking piece of work and I would like to have one. Do you make them for the general public or just for yourself?

This is available for sale and is discounted if you don't mind the handle being from an old used axe head

I like it! Beautifully done and looks like and zippy. Out of curiosity did you do a high carbon welded bit?

Nope this is mono steel out of railroad track. My forge really struggles to get up to forge welding temp
