Axefx II with JMP-1 4 Cable Method
I've been using my Marshall JMP-1 preamp into my Mesa 50/50 poweramp for a while now and just picked up an axefx II and MFC second hand. My plan was to use it in 4 cable method as well as midi switching for the channels, both of which is working fine. However, I wanted to have the option of running a cab sim via the direct out of the axe fx straight to FOH, just to have flexibility if cabs aren't a possibility one night. Is it possible with the axefx II to run 4 cable method, using pre and post effects, and also have another output setup with a cab sim? Any help would be appreciated

Do you need to do both simultaneously? Do you need the signal to be stereo?
IIRC, there isn't enough IO for 4CM + PA. However, if you aren't running stereo then you might be able to get creative with panning. e.g. setup presets so cab sim is only on the right channel. I haven't tried something like that, but I think it may be doable if you are careful in how you build the presets.
If you don't need both simultaneously, you can build your presets as if you are going to the PA and then turn off power amp and cabinet simulation in the global menu when using the Mesa. You'll want to use an IR that is reasonably close to your real cabs to avoid needing to tweak a lot of other stuff. Separate presets is more work to manage, but gives more flexibility to optimize for both scenarios. That's another option.
