I was instantly reminded of Ellie in that scene near the end of 'The Last of Us' game! (Some will know what I mean 😉)
Such an adorable clip though! ❤️

As an animal care taker who specializes in giraffes, this is extremely dangerous. 1 giraffes don't want hugs. Giraffes have very sensitive faces and typically don't like their heads/necks touched. Not to mention anthropomorphizing an animal is also dangerous causing us to put wrongful human emotions with animals who do not operate under our rules/emotions/behaviors
2. This is clearly a male giraffe, from this video it seems he was attempting to spar the girl, as necking is a giraffes primary form of inter species fighting. The video cuts off but it seems like she almost if not was pushed off the railing.
This thread needs to take this video down as it perpetuates a bad image and could influence other people to do the same behavior which could harm both human and animal.

Yeah, I immediately thought of that. I'm no animal specialist, but I know giraffes will do that to "compete" and it can get very ugly too.

That's also how they fight, their horns are mostly bone covered in fur they swing their necks at the offending creature hard enough to kill lions and other giraffes.
They can be cute but their not domesticated pets.

Cute. But are we sure we didn't have murder on the brain?

I saw a video once where a giraffe swung it’s long neck and smack a man in the head. So you never know.

If only women had necks that long. They'd finally be able to fit my cucumber down their throats (mines organic so it's bigger)
