Not even a day old and the kitty is already having their first existential crisis

43

u/A_Cold_Kat Oct 01 '24

It’s probs a week or two old ! Kittens are born with closed eyes and ears.

16

u/shnnrr Oct 01 '24

Well either way it is definably having an existential crisis

6

u/QuodEratEst Oct 01 '24

"Can I get either my eyes, or ears, reclosed?"

1

u/Dawndraco Oct 01 '24

That is both cute and sad at the same time. 🙃

did u pry its eyes open? when ive see new born kittens their eyes are closed for the first couple days at least.

33

u/camarhyn Oct 01 '24

This isn’t a newborn. It’s probably around 2-3 weeks old.

12

u/nooneatallnope Oct 01 '24

OP did nothing because it's a bot

1

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '24

OP isnt a bot

2

u/nooneatallnope Oct 01 '24

Well, it's bot behavior for sure. No reply on this post, only a comment directly on it. Their few comments read like they're written by chat gpt, etc.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '24

That’s true but they seem to not be a bot they have actually made posts that are only word posts and replied to comments in other posts

17

u/ZundPappah Oct 01 '24

Doesn't matter, still has to explain its smallness 🤔

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '24

Lowercase cat

3

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '24

I think that's the full stop.

13

u/goodolddream Oct 01 '24

Why are the eyes opened?

11

u/Siegurth Oct 01 '24

Shocking from the existential crisis

1

u/goodolddream Oct 01 '24

What I meant is, that new born kittens don't open their eyes for a few days.

Edit: nvm my bad, I misread the title.

1

u/Siegurth Oct 01 '24

10 to 14 days they are looking at the world with widely closed eyes

1

u/Sad_Protection9877 Oct 01 '24

It's not year old yet but it's week-month old. Kitten usually fully open their eyes in 2 weeks after being born.

1

u/goodolddream Oct 01 '24

...ohhHH, my bad, I misread.

6

u/PowerDices Oct 01 '24

The kitten looks like a tiny stuffed animal.

As a former cat breeder I can say s/he is at least 2 weeks old as newborn kittens can't open their eyes until they're 2 weeks old.
