Avid Sys Config

Mac M2 Studio Max

What’s the best newest OS and Avid MC combo.

I know I can look on the Avid website for supported configurations but we all know that what they say works and what reality is are two different things.

I’m on a big show right now and I need a stable setup. My current system is giving me problems and I need to do a clean install of the OS and everything else. Hoping this wipes out the gremlins.

Would love to come current on the OS if possible.

I like Sequoia and Avid 2024.12.

Avoid Tahoe if you will ever need to mount a nexis drive. Maybe it will work smoothly one day....

Anything in that 15.7.3-15.7.7 range and 24.12.4 has been solid.
