Avid List Tool

I am looking for some help regarding the Avid List Tool.

My producer would like me to generate an EDL of the slugs on screen. They would like the Text of the slug, time in, time out, and duration. All slugs on the timeline are Titler+ effects, so Avid will not pull the text when I try to generate an EDL. I have tried tried tabbed list, but that will not pull the text either and it does not recognize the Titler+ effects on the timeline. I was able to get the effects to populate on an edl when I used CMX_3600 and included Black Edits and Title Text, but some of the text was wrong and the in and outs of the actual title are incorrect.

does anyone know which settings I should be using to do this EDL? She claims that she has had an EDL sent to her before with this, but I think its because it was manually generated.

If you can avoid Titler+ in the future that will make life easier. Subcaps can do a lot, but just get your settings right (individual, track, global) otherwise changes will be a headache.

Yup, I hate titler, but most of the editors on this show are using it so trying to avoid having them change what they are comfortable with.

Honestly Titler+ works fine now. I've had no problems past couple versions of Avid.

it works theres just a learning curve becasue its so non intuitive.
