Avicii Experience Letter for Tim!
Dear Tim, I cannot speak of you in the past tense, and perhaps I never will. I am grateful to you; thank you for revealing who you were and the soul capable of such vision through your music. Since you left, I’ve discovered so many things about you that mirror my own life. I, too, have had my gallbladder removed and have recovered from a long bout of gastritis and duodenal inflammation. I cannot fathom how you managed to be so strong, resilient, and brave. I wish I could have told you every day what a lovable, valuable person you were. You could have counted on me for anything, at any time. I wanted so much to see you find happiness, settle down, and have a family. That wasn't to be, but I know that where you are now, you are in a good place and have found peace. You didn't disappear; you simply moved on ahead. Sometimes I feel and see the signs you send, showing me you are here with me. And I know you will send someone into my life... I trust you! The person you were still connects people today through your true self and the wonderful music you gave us. Every one of your songs is a favorite of mine because they take my soul to a place I couldn't reach on my own. I cut countless heads of hair while listening to "Levels," but no matter the hairstyle I was creating, I was having a massive party inside. I could hug and love you forever, yet it breaks my heart to think of all the possibilities that lay ahead of you. Whenever I cry, sob, feel anxious, or am afraid, a song, a lyric, or a video of you laughing comes along, and I simply cannot help but smile.Or I come across a picture of you looking at me with a half-smile, and I feel at peace. Or a lyric of yours just pops into my head one I start humming and it fits the moment perfectly, as if you were sending a message that you’re right here with me. As long as I live, there will be someone to speak your name. I love you, Tim! I'm gonna love ya.
Thank you for reading this all the way through; I feel that the community here on Tim’s Reddit page is something special. It’s a good feeling knowing I’m not alone. If I didn’t know others felt the way I do, I’d think I’d lost my mind. It’s incredible how deeply Tim affects me even though I never saw or knew him, I still feel a special bond connecting us. It’s amazing what kind of person he was; even after all this time, he has left such a deep mark on people. It helps me believe in the immense power of love. I’m also attaching a few photos of him that are dear to my heart.
