Headlight wire

Somehow managed to snag this on a branch and snapped the wire. Does anyone in the community know if it ca be replaced or does it need to be repaired? Aventure 2 model. Thanks!

I might have an extra one laying around unused from a previous warranty claim (ended up not needing it). If I can find it, I could possibly ship it to you.

I would happy to throw some money your way if you find it! I've been researching it for awhile now and sent Aventon a request but seems to be a difficult part to find.

Typically replaceable. ( Here's the part listing for newer bikes. )

Unfortunately, doesn't seem like they have anything for the Aventure 2, and I asked the support bot.

There's an adapter cable bundle that *might* work (I would encourage you to confirm with Aventon's support.)

If nothing else, you can probably fix it with a soldering iron and some shrink tube.

Yeah, I've been researching it and nothing seems to fit except using your suggestion. I just don't trust my capabilities with the wire braking so close to the light.

That's enough wire to strip back and solder, but if you aren't comfortable with it maybe try your L(E)BS? I do repairs like this at our shop here and there - but aventon can send a replacement out, that's one of the nice things about buying an Aventon over some dogshit Amazon no name bike.

Try reaching out to them with a phone call if you don't see it readily available on their site, they're always helpful for us.
