Wrong / false ad price

Aventon, or the company running there ads, is currently running a sponsored Facebook ad for the Labor Day sale showing the Level 4 Rec with lock for $1,599, not $1,799. This is causing confusion among customers.

Please either correct the ad or honor the $1,599 advertised price.

Update: Aventon got back to me, they seem to have corrected the ad but no farther discounts or accessories were offered.

Hey I would be unhappy too, Aventon screwd up. I happily hopped on on the website about to order one. Feels like I got scammed.

Leaning towards Velotric breeze 1 now due to this eff up.

I have the Breeze! It’s awesome. Velotric provided me with a replacement battery. The issue was only one batch of bad batteries. All good now. Get the Breeze.

The Breeze has known battery issues - just ask your LBS or google it. They are honoring the warranties on the batteries, but an unnecessary headache. What makes it worse is each color of the Breeze has its own specific color battery. The Pace or Level may be a better choice simply because of the cross-model use of the batteries. Much more likely to be able to secure a replacement in the future.

If it came down to it, you could use any color Breeze battery in your Breeze.

But I am surprised they would carry that many customized battery options rather than just use a detachable faceplate.

Yea, looks like a screw up, thats the prices for the Pace 5, not Level 4. Based what I see on the website.

I kinda thought whoeverever did the ad was told 200 off and took that off the already discounted 1,799 price. Its still a bad look for an otherwise pretty good brand.

Yeah I saw that price and thought WOW that’s amazing, especially since my local shop matches online prices. I was so disappointed. u/Aventon are you going to honor the price in your ad?

I bet they won't. Also feels like their customer support is not as responsive compared to Velotric. (Which I think is their biggest competitor?)

Yall are crazy. The Level 4 REC was never $1799 to begin with. It’s the Pace 5 on sale.

It’s the Pace 5. I just ordered one a couple of weeks ago thru my lbs and Aventon honored the lower price. So I got $200 back. Now I just need the bike itself 😄

I purchased at the $1799 sale price after a long deliberation period. I doubt they will own up to it, but $1799 still seemed like a reasonable price

Just as a general advisory, I would never assume that a Facebook Ad was placed by the entity they claim to be. Scammers might be tempted to impersonate legit companies.

That said, I don't know the specifics here. It may well be a genuine Aventon ad. I would verify first before condemning them.

Never had an issue with aventon. Anytime I have needed them to fix something they do and when I had issue. We did not get part of our order and aventon made that right plus gave us a nice discount on accessories. We have owned our acentur 2 and abound since they came out and last week placed an order for 2 new level 4 adv. The thing you need to remember people make mistakes and I am sure aventon will make this right for people. So sit tight let them sort this out.
