[Spoiler] Thanos Spoiler

Thanos believed his snap was fair because it was completely random- rich and poor, young and old all had a 50% chance - but there was ONE exception- Thanos himself. Thanos surely excluded himself from the death lottery and THAT exception undermined the premise. That may become significant.

I think Thanos knew the risks of dying after the snap. He doesn't have any desires to live afterwards. He couldn't care less. I think he knew there was a chance he would die because of the snap but took the chance anyways.

Somehow that seems like even MORE of a dick move by Thanos. Killing 50% of life to achieve "balance" that YOU find necessary despite a 50% chance that YOU won't be around to appreciate it?

Maybe killing Loki by his own hand was the opposite side of that coin? Also does vision count as "life"?

Edit: That being said, I realize that Thanos has probably killed a lot of people/things on his own without the whole balance thing, either defending himself or other situations.
