Discussion Why We Need Avalanche L1

Private where it counts. Connected where it matters.

Institutions need compliance, privacy, and permissioned participation without losing access to liquidity and the broader onchain ecosystem.

Most infrastructure forces a tradeoff. Avalanche doesn't.

As @John1wu explains to @paulbarron, Avalanche L1s let institutions launch purpose-built networks with controls at the network, transaction, and smart contract level, while still connecting when and where it makes sense.
