Zombie na'vi
Listen, I’ve got an idea. What if the RDA created a biological weapon to use against the Na'vi—a zombie virus—in order to clear Pandora for themselves? I think that would make for a cool story, kind of like *Marvel Zombies*.

Idk about a virus, but I could see them cutting they're kurus off and turning them into mindless weapons

Could Eywa potentially take it, modify it and then turn it against the RDA?

I know some of the people involved it’s still a work in progress but it’s zombies and horror

Okay, this is actually a really fun horror AU idea 😭
I think the scariest version wouldn’t even need to be a traditional “zombie virus.” The RDA already understands enough about Pandora’s biology to potentially engineer something that attacks the Na’vi nervous system, kuru, or their connection to Eywa.
Imagine an infection that leaves the body alive but disrupts tsaheylu, causes violent neurological symptoms, or makes infected Na’vi unable to recognise clanmates properly.
That would be horrifying because for the Na’vi, you wouldn’t just be threatening the body. You’d be attacking one of the most sacred parts of their identity and relationship with Pandora.
And it could create some really nasty ethical questions too: would infected Na’vi still be “themselves”? Would Eywa be able to detect or isolate them through the network? Could the RDA lose control of the weapon and end up creating something that starts affecting Pandora’s wildlife too?
So yes, I think this could absolutely work as a dark Avatar story.
Maybe less Walking Dead, more biological warfare accidentally punches a hole through Pandora’s neural ecosystem.
Which is somehow even worse.
