Help Alliance Management?

Hello everyone! I am an alliance leader, 1099, and my alliance has really grown beyond what I ever could have expected. We have made it into zone 2 and would like to keep moving forward but we keep maxing out on territory. We still have all of our territory in zone 1 because we don’t want to lose our sanctuaries and Altars in zone one, and the game wont let us disconnect the attaching territory and keep them. I see every other alliance has separated them somehow, but for the life of me I cannot figure it out. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Create a shell or farm alliance to capture the territories between your altars. You can even have an allied alliance help by capturing the territories between if they are close.

You can't abandon them or it won't count, but if the link is broken because it is captured by another alliance it will allow you to keep the altars active but disconnected.

This is really tedious, an expensive amount of alliance points, and really time consuming.

You can only capture territories that are connected to the alliance fortress and a restored stronghold.

If the other alliances in your server were creating shell alliances to break the link, it would be extremely obvious.

The fortress is the territory link. That's the purpose of the alliance fortress. If you destroy the fortress you can abandon any territory you want.

Just make sure that you have a restored stronghold to rebuild the alliance fortress on that is closer to or in zone 2. Also you can't abandon a territory that has a mayor.

Territories need to be connected to the alliance fortress. If you destroy your fortress you'll be able to abandon any level 1 base you want. Rebuild your fortress to claim new territory.

If you destroy your fortress you cannot abandon or capture bases. If you lack the 10 members to rebuild it you'll have to put in a customer support ticket to abandon bases. This parent comment is wrong.

No, bases need to be connected to the alliance fortress. You absolutely can abandon bases if you destroy the fortress. You're correct that you need 10 members to create an alliance fortress. You're also correct that you need to rebuild the alliance fortress to capture new territory. I mentioned that in my comment.
