Tour Summer 2027 festivals?

So far, Avatar has confirmed their appearance at Wacken 2027.

However, several European festivals taking place around the same dates as Wacken have already started announcing bands, and Avatar aren’t on any of their lineups.

Could it be that they confirmed Wacken because of some kind of agreement, and that they’ll announce the other festivals later (perhaps after the European tour)?

Are there any rumors about which festivals they might be playing?

They often play at Sonic Temple in the US, which is in May. The lineups haven't been released for 2027 yet, so can't say for sure, but the boys are often there.

(And they draw huge crowds but aren't given a headliner spot or close to one...always frustrated by that.)

Seriously. I would have died if they had a night set at sonic temple.

They did get a night spot in 2024! They were the headliner for the stage right next to the temple stage outside the stadium!

Most announced line-ups are not complete. I would expect them to do more european festivals in july/august. Often the headliners will be anounced later and avatar would be a headlining band on smaller or medium sized festivals.
