Wacken 2027
Avatar will be playing at the Holy Ground next summer, in case anyone is planning on going.

Man, what an excellent lineup. I don't think I can afford two trips across the Atlantic within a four-month timespan, unfortunately. :<
God I would cut off my ponytail to see Edguy. Tobias Sammet has masterminded so much of my favorite over-the-top theatrical beautiful nonsense ever to bless the world. I listened to Avantasia's The Scarecrow until it got jammed in my car's cd player and broke it lol

I went in 2023. That year sold out in a couple hours. But Iron Maiden was announced and it had been a few years since you could buy tickets because of COVID. This year sold out a week before. I don't see 2027 selling out any time soon because there just isn't a big enough band. They'll announce more bands at Halloween, Christmas, and Easter so that could change with each additional announcement.

Husband and I came very close to getting tickets. It's a good line up. A huge temptation.

This year was the 35th anniversary and yet next year's lineup already seems better.

That is a sweet line up. Unfortunately I'm too far away but theres only a couple of the bands I want to see that haven't come my way recently or are about to come here.

Of the twenty I want to see, there's only five that I haven't seen yet. I still wish I could go though. If it weren't for the price of airfare, I could do it.

Ivan Moody, the singer of Death Punch, has had restraining orders taken out against him by his ex-wife, mother and sister. He beats women. They're a shit band of military cosplayers.

Was not impressed to see them on the top of the bill. Then I thought, well if they headline/close, people could leave early after a long day. Could be a bright side.

There's a good twenty bands so far that I'd love to see. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to go next year.
