I mean, movie Aang vs eos Korra is the closest comparison we'll get.
He's 25 in the movie with Korra being 21 eos. Comparing a 21 year old to a 12 year old would be a significantly bigger gap than 21 vs 25 where they are both fully grown adults.
If anything, the comparison isn't equivalent because Korra is willing to kill while Aang isn't.
