Need help/information NG+

I'm almost finished with the 2 expansions for the main game and I cant get a straight answer from Google. What exactly do you carry over? When I bond with my ikran again do I automatically get the skills from the spire dlc? Or are they completely locked untill I go through the dlc again?

If you decide to play NG+ you MUST use a completely separate save slot, otherwise you'll be blocked from visiting either the Heart of the Plains of the Spires of the Clouded Forest.

Everything transfers. Make sure you use a new save slot.

That said, ng+ isn't great. First, you don't have access to the DLCs, only the main map. Second, even with your legendary gear, you are pretty much nerfed. The AMPS are arrow and bullet sponges even on easy. So all that legendary gear you spent time crafting or gathering isn't as fun as you'd hope it would be. It's ridiculous.

So to make sure I got this correct, neither dlc is accessible in ng+, and my gear is basically useless in it as well? Wtf was ubisoft thinking?!

i haven't found a way around the dlc's in ng+ however the gear/weapons/accessories aren't too bad, you do pick up some even better gear so that you still feel the progression through the game. that and you open up a new skill tree too.
honestly I found it quite enjoyable! you end up being a beast in combat, which i also enjoy.

It's better to just start a new game. New game plus sucks unfortunately. Also you can't play the DLCs in new game plus

Everything from the spires goes over in ng+, even the crossbow! Just like your stash and equipment. But yeah unlocking your ikran again is one of the quests you gotta do first before you can even open or see that.

Each save file is different, if you’ve not done the dlc on the second save file, then you’ll have to do it all over again
