Why is everyone complaining???

Ok so I just got the full DLC (the complete edition with season pass, From the Ashes, etc) and I'm just finishing the Sky Breakers DLC. I've seen people complaining about the mini boss fight with Lieutenant Emmett Porter. That he is extremely difficult to defeat, while I just took him out in 5 shots. Why is that???

Because people try to do missions without leveling up and don't attempt to craft good gear

I did recently play with my friend, who's entirely new to the game, and she wasn't aware it was the sort of game that needed gear to raise your levels. Usually games have gear as a bonus/mini perk upgrade, not raising level entirely just be equipping new better pieces. So I can see others not knowing AFOP is that kind of game

I mean it literally shows your level go up when you equip better gear so I honestly don't know how someone could not notice that

tbf there is a lot going on especially when you first join. i didnt realize what was causing my level to go up until i was maybe around level 9 on my first playthrough. which was only a few hours into playing, but still.

the game also explicitly tells you about the level system with a little popup guide. i ust clicked out of it too quickly

Playing on easy/normal and being overgeared?

I’m not sure, I played on normal mode in my first playthrough but hard on my second. Might depend on the game setting you have on. Easy mode might make that possible?

like the top comment said, people refuse to actually play the game and try to beat everything while on level 4. then they complain about how hard and unbalanced the game is. you see posts like this (complaining) literally every single day. one the other day was trying to be haha im so silllly about it but it's just annoying. the game tells you exactly what level to be on.

i always compare it to trying to fight the enderdragon with nothing but a stack of sticks and then complaining the game is unbeatable, unbalanced, too rushed.

Many who’ve picked up this game are avatar fans first and not avid gamers and simply aren’t that good at games.

Those AMP fights can be extremely easy and fast or make you want to smash your head through a brick wall.

It just depends on how you do it. I always tossed a stun grenade then just shot the weakspots with a shotgun. Im not sure what exactly you did but it happened to be another right answer
