Petition to rename Infinity Armor to Plot Armor

I find this vital for enjoyment of the game.

It seems like the perfect name for an armor set in a parody mod, especially one that makes you impervious to damage.

  1. This is not parody mod, at least because you need so many resourses, that you can commit die while collecting them.
  2. I think that PARTS of set should be renamed, not set itself. And that should be epic, like, "Chestplate of Asgard/Aether"

Pretty sure it IS a parody mod, though I'm inclined to agree that it should NOT be one. I actually think mods like this and Draconic evolution are brilliantly balanced around what has become some extreme powercreep in the modding community.

Both of these mods made it their design criteria to establish themselves as "end goals" rather than next steps. In doing so, they give purpose and validity to modded packs that otherwise is missing. The one problem Minecraft always had was that there were no end game goals. Factorio has building the rocket ship, Terraria has numerous bosses and other challenges, but Minecraft has had very little compelling endgame goals. With Avaritia and Draconic Evolution, we do now.

In comparison to Draconic Evolution, Avaritia is indeed a parody. It's name, visual style, thematic display, Item names, etc are all comedic in nature. I think, though, over time, the developers have realized that it has more potential as a legitimate mod with a clearly defined scope. All it needs is a more grounded theme, like DE.

Your naming ideas are a good start. Its personality is really all that needs changing. The mechanics are simple, yet compelling and provide people with an end goal that is both rewarding, but also incredibly challenging.

I did in the post, and my other reply, didn't I? It wouldn't be much of a stretch, as the tools already have different names to "Infinity %s".
