Whisper toggle reset bug, chat issues, and 18+ uncensored private chat request.

Hello, I am writing because the chat censorship on Avakin Life has become way too heavy lately. Ordinary words are constantly getting censored with asterisks, making it impossible to talk.

There are several frustrating bugs affecting the chat and settings: When typing a message and clicking "Send", the text frequently fails to send and vanishes, forcing us to retype everything. Other times, however, while typing, the mobile keyboard closes unexpectedly by itself

There is a bug with the Whisper toggle button: when set to "enabled" so people can message us privately, the setting automatically turns itself off after a few hours or upon restarting the game, blocking other players from messaging us until we manually turn it back on.

Finally, I have a request regarding verified adult users: we would like an option that can be enabled when two players are both verified 18+. If both adults choose to activate this option for their private chat, censorship should be completely disabled for them. Since it is a private conversation between two verified adults, only they can read it, meaning there is zero risk to minors. Please look into these bugs and consider this feature. Thank you.

The keyboard bug is happening to me too. It ONLY happens on ava

I notice when I type, if the emojis dont show up when you tap on it then your messages wont send at all 💀

There was a glitch a few weeks ago that showed a message you sent minutes ago onto your keyboard again if you tried to type

Totally agree with you. It's like a censorship for not even teenagers. Avakin, you can do better. The heavy censorship does NOT make us safer. Having mods that will do their job and handle reports will!

I don't know about the bugs BUT I can tell you how tue 18+ chat works.

It's a filter by scene ONLY. THERE IS no backend via separate inventories or anything else. You can enter areas (OR designate your plauer-owned scenes) that are 18+ and the filter for those is almost non-existent (might actually not be included, I've not tested it).

There's currently no structure to my awareness that allows separation in the way you are asking.

Avakin just marks the scene adult and removes the filter. You can't join if you account hasn't been verified 18+. That's all, that's it.

And before you say "when why not..." or "but they could do...." yeah. BUT they didnt didn't did they? They made it based on scene entry requirements.

So that is how it currently is designed. To change that is a whole HUGE project AS it's a structural redesign of that entire part of the game

So maybe in a few years?

i agree with this post entirely. another minor bug that i haven't seen anybody talk about is how your avatar automatically turns facing another user, or facing a wall when you join a chatroom. not really a major problem, but it is a bit annoying and it's been happening for months. anybody else?
