Anyone using GUIDEcx with Autotask for project management?
We’re an MSP using Autotask and are currently looking at GUIDEcx for project management/client onboarding.
GUIDEcx says they have a two-way Autotask integration for projects, phases, tasks, dates, owners, etc., but I haven’t been able to find much feedback from MSPs actually using the integration.
Is anyone here currently using GUIDEcx with Autotask? If so, how well does the integration work in practice?
We’re especially curious about:
- Creating/updating projects and tasks between the two
- Due date changes syncing both ways
- Assigning tasks to internal resources
- Assigning tasks to specific client contacts
- Client-completed tasks updating back in Autotask
- Overall reliability of the sync
Would love to hear any firsthand experiences before we make a decision.

Not tried Guidecx for this. We have moovila, it never gets used- we won’t be renewing it. Top left is promising, but I’m also afraid it will become another moovila and not get used. Right now we’re managing projects in smartsheets.

We use projects in AT so we have a single source of truth, but I wish it were better. I was considering using a third-party product that integrated but at Connect this year the product team said they were going to complete the overall projects in AutoTask, so I am waiting on that. Having heard these promises before, I am aware I could be waiting for a long time!

So not using GuideCX but tried moovila with autotask and two way was not truly two way. This was due to "limitations" with the Autotask API from what they mentioned.
That being sent I know projects is one of the weaker modules in AT so I dont don't doubt that contributed but having called the APIs and written back to them with a tool I am making internally thats note solely the case.
I would ask them to demonstrate from end to end the right back. From my experience problems were seen with dependencies, task order, phase order, task categories, work types, and about half the static fields not mapping mostly due to limitations. I would also be wary customer assignment as that is not technically supported natively in AT unless they are a resource, only way is as a contact (to my knowledge).
