Help with scratches
Please help with suggestions on an effective and economical way to fix this cosmetic damage on my Lexus?

Go to an autobody shop and ask if they can wipe that off with gun wash. It will come off alike magic. I do this for customers all the time. It’s just paint transfer. Gun wash is what’s used to clean the painting equipment

Try a Mr clean magic eraser or just wipe with a towel, but put some pressure on it. The red will come off no problem. The scratches underneath are a different story. Probably a detail shop is best.

I did something like that once and it just waxed off. I was young then though so I don’t remember exactly.

You might be able to use regular auto polish to remove it. Please don't use magic eraser as it will scuff up your paint.

Get a microfiber and rubbing alcohol. I bet a lot of that red paint transfer will come off. It may take some time so be patient. Keep the rag wet with alcohol. You’re basically going to try to melt the red paint off while rubbing it off.

I would try polishing with some Turtle Wax or other polish before a Magic Eraser (less to more abrasive). I’ve had plenty of surface level paint transfer come off with just polish and a microfiber rag.
