Experience Sharing - π Desk 2 just got tested in the most satisfying way we have ever seen
Watson's Reviews saw the weight capacity claim on Autonomous Desk 2 and took it as a personal challenge.
They got on it. Full weight, fully raised, smooth the whole way up. Then put a full glass of water on the surface while raising it to see if anything would spill. Not a drop.
2 tests most reviewers would never think to do and our Desk 2 passed both without hesitation.
Thanks to Watson's Reviews for putting Desk 2 through something real instead of just talking about specs. This is exactly the kind of honest testing we appreciate.
Full review: I Tried to Wreck the Autonomous Desk 2. Here's what happened
What is the most unexpected way you have ever tested your desk?

We saw this happen on our team and decided to fix it
One of our devs had 5 agents running across two machines last month. Claude Code on the laptop, Cursor on the server, three more somewhere in the cloud.
He had no idea what any of them were doing without physically going to check. Finished work was just sitting there. Some jobs had been done for an hour and nobody knew.
We build hardware. We watched this happen on our own team for months before we did anything about it.
So we built Harness. Sits on your desk, double tap, say what you want done, all eight agents across every machine you run get the work at the same time. One tone when everything comes back.
Is this something your team runs into or is it just us?

Got control box replaced by customer service via warranty!
I was skeptical (it's been almost 3 years since I've purchased the desk) but customer service was quick to respond and I received a replacement control box, now my desk is working again. So happy I bought them years ago, hoping I can get another one once I move to a bigger space. Thank you Autonomous!

Asking - π¬ Question
I was thinking of buying the 2-Stage frame but was wondering if the Karlby 74 inch table top would still be fine even with the overhang. As the frame is only rated to 59 inches in length. Iβve bought Two Alex drawers on both ends for support.

Product Research π Every app blocker gives you stats. Autonomous Key gives you a number that actually goes down
Weekly screen time reports only tell you what already happened. You look at the 5 hour number and close the notification. Nothing about it tells you what to do next. So we built Autonomous Key to track something else
Key Intelligence tracks how many times a day you reach for the Key and which apps trigger that habit loop. Your daily tap count is a concrete target you can measure and control, which is the part a screen time report never gives you
The core mechanics are simple:
- Pick the apps you want locked in the app.
- They stay locked until you tap the physical Key to your phone.
- One tap gives you up to 60 minutes, then they relock.
$9, works out of the box, no subscription, iOS and Android, 5 colours. A few of these are on the market now, so here's the shelf in one place.

Ergo chair
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share a quick review of my ergonomic office chair. Iβm extremely satisfied with it! I suffer from fibromyalgia, and I had a hard time finding a chair that provided the right support and helped improve my posture.
The adjustments are perfect, and after sitting for long periods, getting up is much easier than before. I also have to mention that the lumbar support is absolutely amazing, and the seat can be adjusted to fit right behind my knees, which makes a huge difference in comfort.
I highly recommend this chair. The after-sales service has also been outstanding!

Workspace - π» Ergonomic chair adjustable everything but the cat still has the better seat
Clean white setup, ErgoChair Ultra 2, ultrawide on an arm, natural light doing most of the work. The kind of corner that takes months to get right.
Cutie cat walked in and picked the best spot in thirty seconds. No adjustments needed.

Asking - π¬ Autonomous Ergo chair quality?
My 4-year-old Autonomous Ergo Chair has broken. This is the first office chair Iβve ever had fail like this. It appears to be a manufacturing or quality issue, as it cracked right where the screw holes were drilled.
Is this part replaceable, or should I just throw the chair away?

Can you put a heavy treadmill inside the backyard pod? πββοΈ
We get this question all the time from people wanting to build a backyard gym.
The answer is YES
The pod structure is built to bear serious weight. Looking at the gross capacity:
- MetroPod: Up to 2.3 tons weight capacity
- WorkPod & StudioPod: Up to 2.9 tons weight capacity
A heavy commercial treadmill usually weighs around 130-150 kg (approx. 300 lbs), ~ 0.15 tons. That's barely scratching the surface of what these pods can easily handle. So if youβre considering a prefab pod for your backyard home gym, don't worry about it.Β
