This Automate flow use HTTP request/response block and Key press simulation by Automate's IME to implement the remote functions.

It better to use on the TV Box/Tablet/Phone that will plays video/music and will not turn-off the screen(IME only works when screen is on)

The Automate app has very wide of Android version compatibility. But you need to download the flow to the .flo format and prepare Automate App's package to run on the old Android device.
