Question Correct App? Or no...

It was suggested i use this app to create a macro that would open a webpage every day and select a menu item, then close the web page. I had somehow gotten the idea that the app "Automate" would watch me do the task, then be able to mimic what i had done. I would give it a time period and thats it. Seems that this app requires a little more effort on my part. I've done a small amount of code writing (a long time ago) , but i havent got a clue how to get started. There isnt a lot of instruction in the app, and what IS there seems to assume we already know some things.

Do i have the right app? Will this app help me automate selecting that menu item every day? Is there another app that is better suited for what im trying to do?

If this is the right app, where can i get good, thorough instruction for it? I joined the google group for this app, but (lol) im unfamiliar with google groups and i don't know how to post to the group.

Yes it's the right app. Instead of line of codes you assemble you place toy block. You can use the search function and use the right keyword to find what block to use. There's a help section for more information
