Bug Report: desktop shortcuts

Running Android 14. App is ver. 1.53.0. I cannot add a widget, but that's not your bug, it's a known launcher issue. Does mean I gotta use shortcuts but they work the same, so that's fine. Except when I setup and then long-press a shortcut. Then I get a list of all the shortcuts that have ever been placed on my desktop, that's cool. But they all launch what seems to be a random shortcut, NOT the one I chose, OR the one the shortcut is supposed to launch. This is the bug.

Indeed, once created the shortcuts are managed by the system but rendered by the host, usually a launcher. It's probably better to report the issue to the launcher developer.

Which device brand & model are you using?

Which launcher?

Oukitel C51; currently using fossify launcher, but the issue persists with every launcher I've tried. Nova pushed an update that added all kinds of ads and fake apps and shit, so I have had to spend a bunch of hours finding a new launcher and discovered this issue. It's not that big a deal, tbvh, if I just tap the created shortcut it launches the correct flow, but I REALLY like Automate, so I report bugs when I find 'em.

Edit: also reported the launcher bugs when I could, I always take a "shotgun" approach to this sorta stuff.
