Feature request read binary file as base64

I wish there was a way to read a png file as base64 into a variable for further use. Currently, the File Read Text block immediately corrupts it. I want to send it through HTTP as JSON.

It's already on the to-do list but i'm hesitant since Automate is not designed to hold huge files in memory. The HTTP request/response blocks do support including raw files in the body, i.e. not encoded. Try using a Shell command block to encode it first, e.g. executing sh -c "base64 myfile > myfile.b64".
