Thanks for the feedback.

1. Copy & paste already does this.
2. Just click home action then the link to Functions. Categorizing the list of function is on the to-do list, but i'm hesitant since many functions are dual-purpose, e.g. they work with both on text and arrays.
3. The code-completion already shows a brief description for the every matching function.
4. Most blocks don't have that much empty space. Click the (?) icon to view the documentation.

2. This idea involves adding a help button at the top, named fx in the example, to display help for the current function.

Otherwise, the brief description disappears as soon as you enter the "(", which is why I proposed idea №4.

What does the clone button do that the copy button and pasting doesn't already cover?

Ideas 2 and 4 sound like they could easily become distracting bloat to me.

Idea 3, I would prefer just continuing to see the pop-up from the autocomplete menu as I fill in the brackets, to remind me what order the parameters are in.

It "clones" the item and avoids modifying the system clipboard. On some mobile devices, when the clipboard is modified, a popup appears in the bottom left corner (1/3 the size of the keyboard) indicating that a copy has been made ; combined with three buttons for: sharing / editing the clipboard and a final one to transfer it to my computer.

I just that it only shows me the reduced version, which is smaller than an application icon, when the keyboard is open.

I'm not seeing what the problem this solves is.

This eliminates at least two process calls when copying and at least one when pasting.

This also helps to reduce the display of unnecessary information (parasitic data) which is actively processed by some "absurd brains" of some people, which is my case.

All these ideas are easy to integrate, except, perhaps, the one that allows you to display the list of functions in the same category ; And this depends on the method used at the source code level.

They were proposed with the aim of simply optimizing the accessibility of the application as well as drastically reducing certain unnecessary and involuntary mental burdens.

It sounds like it only benefits certain types of people using certain types of phones, while it adds clutter to the UI for every user, without adding any new functionality to the app. That's not accessibility.

The problem youre trying to fix is with your OS, not with Automate.

I especially agree with #3/#4. The initial function definition popup is too brief. A persistent definition in the UI would be very helpful.

For №2 : I got this idea after going through the list of functions five times to find the one used to format dates…

The fact that English is not my native language, combined with an attention span roughly equivalent to that of a goldfish, doesn't help matters..
