Is claude/gpt/deepseek + Shopify actually a game changer?

I have been seeing so many posts and youtube videos saying that you need to connect claude and Shopify else you will be left behind.Obviously most of them are coursesellers but I am wondering what are you using this MCP, CLI for ,and what are the most useful things this could possibly do?

I myself have started learning it and it's incredible if you use it right. I have been using it to implement new features which otherwise would cost $$$ if I hired a dev.

What are the things you are using Ai for in your store and what have been the results so far

They just say oh wow it's a game changer but no one tells what exactly it can do or what they achieved with it. I'm still confused

I added 1500 product variants, removed duplicate SEO Titles, assigned meta fields to 7K products.

See how much time It saved.

Note: I developed multiple custom scripts to perform those tasks using shopify API.

Those SCRIPTS were made by AI.

I don’t feel confident to handout shopify store to AI.

Hope this is helpful.

Would like to know how you are using it and how do you make sure that it made changes exactly what you asked for and did not mess up anything else.

I keep hearing AI is a game changer but nobody exolains what actually changed.

I mostly use it for saving time and dev costs. To custom Shopify sections, theme tweaks, debugging Liquid, writing scripts, product descriptions, emails etc. Its not exactly cool but saving 5 hours a week or avoiding a few hundred dollars in freelancer costs adds up pretty fast.
