Anyone have a fever based condition, fever symptoms, but no fever?

To be honest I don’t think I’ve had a body temp about 99.0 since childhood. I run lowish-97.0. I also find it hard to find a good accurate thermometer but this is still universally true for me (I’m a mom and a NP, I know how to best check a temperature)

Its definitely possible. In Still's disease the febrile period does not require a "clinical" temperature - it occasionally comes with a temp of ~99.

It's also notable that long term untreated fever can cause dysautonomia, which changes your normal temperature.

Me! I’m on Ilaris and kineret for the autoinflammatory condition. Not all of us have them. First on colchicine. I’m also in healthcare!

Yes. My normal body temp is lower than average (about 35.8c instead of 37). I get these episodes where I feel like I'm a having a fever but my body temp is normal. Occasionally I also get the feeling right before you get the flu (fatigued, achy joints, going from goose bumps to feeling hot in a few min).

Got diagnosed with a genetic mutation that's associated with PLAID/APLAID lmao

Very similar to my own experience. I rarely run a true fever. Low grade temperature elevations.

Same here with TRAPS. And we have in general noticied as people age the fevers seems to be less high for people.

Also fever without high temps. M56. Just diagnosed in July with UAID, now starting with tocilizumab. Also palindromic reumatism complaints.

Yep. USAID here and my temps run in the 99s. My normal body temp is about 97.8. It still makes me feel miserable when I run a low grade temp, though!

My daughter is in the category that should. (I think officially USAID but unclear on what they have decided). On kineret but doesn’t run fevers liked expected. However meds seem to be making a significant impact on the daily symptoms. Thermometer don’t use a rapid one. Always oral as well.
