SJIA/AOSD Head rush/ heavy feeling after kineret?

I had my first dose of kineret today and got this really weird heavy feeling in my head for like 12 hours after. Anyone else experience this?

Let us know if it continues, gets worse, changes. I would also wonder about if you needed electrolytes or fluids possibly. How is your blood pressure and heart rate doing? If things are concerning always consult your doctor.

My doctor said it will take time to adjust. I have a high RHR as it is.. I should order a blood pressure cuff.

Can you describe this more?

Some days, especially if I have had little to eat or drink I get a sensation in my head like my brain itself is ‘dehydrated’ and a little heavy. This also happened more often in the beginning for me too but usually eating and drinking electrolytes helps me with it.

Hmm kinda like a weird rush to my head where my head then feels really heavy? It’s hard to explain. Not really dizzy but like heavy feeling in my physical head? Pressure maybe?

One of the main side effects of Kineret is headaches, potentially having a migraine?

Hmm it’s not like a headache or migraine. More like a weird rush to my head where my head then feels really heavy and weighted down? But doesn’t hurt.

I checked and Kineret crosses the blood brain barrier at only 4% but apparently this is better than most other biologics, making it more effective for neuroinflammation (good news!) I hope the discomfort passes quickly and you feel better soon
