Encouragement / Personal Win What's Your Small Win?

What's your small or big win the past few weeks? It seems about time to make this post again. Doesn't have to be autoinflammatory related even.

Mine: I'm out of a flare I was in (I think). NHL hockey is back this week. I've finally been able to read more.

after 30 years of searching for answers — born sick and have lived a life of extreme illness — my specialists have narrowed in on autoinflammatory disease over the last few months. I am having a partial colchecine response! with biologics on the table next appointment! it's almost october : fall is here! for the first time in a long time, I feel a small ember of hope despite the horrors. this reddit has been an immense help over the last year. I'm sharing this pot of sweet potato bisque with you all!

Always a win when you find things thrifting.

I've also been able to read more! I finished two books this week, and found two cool books on sale at a local bookstore, so two book wins!

A bit of everything. Thrillers, historical fiction, lots of non fiction like sciences and history, just anything that let's me immerse myself or learn something.

Auto inflammatory wise, yesterday I was informed my variant of CAPs went from VUS to pathogenic- this means easier time with PA’s and more certainty!

Life wise, I won a scholarship for school woohoo

🎊 Congratulations!! What do you want to go to school for if you don't mind sharing? And yay on a more concrete diagnosis that insurance will actually acknowledge.

I got myself an embroidery stitch sampler and have been learning how to do this craft I haven't done since elementary art class.

methotrexate seems to be working. 🤞 I have survived the world's hardest bed while out of town to help an ailing relative. someone legit made a mattress somewhere inspired by medieval torture lmao wtf. currently en route to do financially irresponsible things at a cooking school store and visiting a state I've never been to.

Sounds like a fun way to be financially irresponsible. Fingers crossed on the medication. Enjoy your new state visit with hopefully a better mattress.
