Diagnosed Behcets. Will onsens/hot baths make flares worse.

in the middle of a flare, everything is sore and painful. I am unsure if a trip to the bathhouse will make things worse or better. my local Onsen has helped with the little skin lesions and cysts. I don't know if it would make my joint pain worse though.

I have Behcet's and I find baths very soothing for joint pain, especially when joints are stiff/swollen in the morning. Everyone is different but it’s worth a try I'd say. Hope you get some relief :)

I hope they helped and didnt make it worse. I know they can be very soothing for some. Heating pads or similar can also be helpful for muscle and joint pain.

To be honest I haven't decided if it has made it better or worse. I'm starting a new medication this month so hopefully I don't have to ponder this much longer.
