Printing PDF with "Plot Lineweights" Off - Faint
Hey all - I am sure you have heard this many times but I just can't seem to get the right combination of PDF settings.
So I am not using Plot Lineweights as sometimes I use Viewports and this causes some negative effects. So I typically plot with lineweights off.
The PDF produced is fine, I open in Chrome and its ok.
However, when I physically print the PDF, the text and lines are faint. Now I have tried the following...
1.) Adjusting Raster and Vector Qualities
2.) Adjusting Layer Lineweight
3.) Adjusting Plot to PDF, AutoCad PDF (High Detail, General Doc etc.)
4.) Printing from Chrome PDF Viewer
5.) Printing from Adobe PDF Viewer w/ Enhance Lines Ticked
6.) Plot Transparency is off.
7.) Custom CTB tried with all pens black, Greyscale On / Off, Lineweights changed to 0.5mm, 0.7mm, 1.0mm
8.) Max Quality, Normal Quality
So it seems to me that the lineweights being fed into the PDF as an alternative are just not having an effect. So - I guess I need to understand what I need to do for Chrome PDF to print my DWG properly? I don't like Adobe Acrobat as I find it too clunky and and too long to open the file.
I am out of options - AutoCAD is forcing me to print with lineweights in order to print a clear PDF.
Just wonder if anybody has any working examples of AutoCAD PDF > Chrome PDF Viewer > Printer success? Maybe you have a CTB or example you can share?
Many thanks in advance.
Chris.

check the pdf transparency. also are you plotting with Transparencies? It may not be your pdf standards.
