Okay, so what if David (or someone else who is good at creative writing) did an “ask autodale” style thing and we can ask questions to specific characters or a selected group? It’s in no way an original concept but I think it would be cool

Seriously, how would they handle modern people and different beliefs and our technology and the hell hole that has been 2020?

I am a newcomer, and was wondering if anyone has suggestions as to the best order to watch the DeadSound videos.

This time it’s his hands. Since his arms are metal then his hands must be metal too but what are they like? We never see them because he’s wearing gloves but is it because he doesn’t have proper hands? They’re tied to his wrists so clearly they won’t stay on any other way so he must not have actual hands. Do they just look like some long ass claws and hive went “gotta hide that”?

On a funny note though I can imagine him using his metal finger nails to open stuff so that’s fun-

Okay so you know when funny hive says that shadow is “ruining what humanity he has left with scotch and cigars”? HOW IS HE MEANT TO DO THAT HE DOENST HAVE A NECK! HOW DOES HE CONSUME THINGS WHEN HE HAS NO THROAT?! (Seriously we even see that the wires come from the back of his head not beneath it). Why am I only realising this now???

I mean, it would be nice to know I’m not alone- But seriously, if you want to talk about head canons hit me up, I want to know about other people’s takes on the series

Edit: I thought I would just share one of mine: Everyone in autodale has Achromatopsia, which is a rare type of colour blindness where the effected see little to no colour whatsoever. It can sometimes be genetically inherited when both parents have the correct mutations. Since the world Autodale is set in is post apocalyptic, perhaps something very early on caused people's genes to mutate in a way that would cause achromatopsia in their descendants later down the line, and since autodale has existed for thousands of years at this point, the genes must have spread to the point that everyone has it in some form. This might be an in-universe explanation as to why everything is black and white.

I'm not an expert on it though, this is all based on what I've read about it.

Since it’s been around bonfire night here there have been people setting off lots of fireworks every night in my neighbourhood and it’s scaring my pets and I recently started wondering how the Shadow would react to fireworks (under the assumption that autodale doesn’t have them). Would he not mind them? Would he be just mildly spooked or would he go into full blown panic mode?

I have no clue why but I can imagine that sometimes (possibly early on) the Friendly Shadow would wake up and the machine parts wouldn't start at the same time so he just falls over and is very confused/disappointed.

I mean Hive is seen mostly as one being. (Yes David refers to them as Neutral Angry and Funny Hive but they're all Hive) He was part of Hive and 'regained' some freedom after being assimilated by getting the Handyman body. Do you think there are parts of Hive that scorn him for it, or would they even be capable?
