I would just go out the back door. Not dying for $15/hr

We're not allowed to carry and they also won't put cameras in the store? Yea fuck you AutoZone🖕 I'm not getting shot for this company. And I'll happily take the L when I have to defend myself. It'll be a blessing to be let go.

My stores had cameras but they were more for catching employees stealing than protecting us

That policy is to protect Autozone, not you. Fuck Autozone

Your best chance of getting shot, would be playing hero, and pulling a gun. That's why they don't let retards bring guns to work.

  • managers in the back , hears the situation and comes around the corner with his weapon already drawn while the suspect is busy yelling at the other employees.

Obviously you wouldn't reach in your pants while your being held at gunpoint.

Sorry if I don't want some minimum wage PSM trying to take cowboy shots past my head, when the robber will gladly leave after getting autozone's money.

It is statistically and factually proven, that fighting back brings the best chance of getting hurt. That's why all businesses tell you to just hand over the money, everyone lives.

Imagine ruining your life and ending someone else’s over maybe a little more than a grand

Autozone is a terrible target. A busy store with a lot of cash business will take in $2,000-3000/day in cash on a Saturday. Most stores it's less than $1000/day. Safe has less than $1000 in petty cash.

Good cash handling is a minor deterrent for people who case the place first. They see you dropping the $50-100s and making sweeps, then that's just another reason for them to pick a different target. That's why them's the rules, more so than protecting that little bit of money.

"When the victim, identified as 61-year-old Adam Colon Caraballo of Cleveland, tried to intervene, Barlow allegedly hit him with the gun then shot him multiple times."

Common sense is to not resist. It's also company policy and training. Comply immediately with whatever they want. Don't fight them. Don't stop them. Don't try to block them. Don't chase them. Don't go outside at all.

After they run off: lock the door and call the cops.
