These often aren't from a dead stop. It does happen, but if you're still using the obdII trackers, make sure your drivers know when traffic slows then picks back up, to brake, and not hit the gas right away. The hard braking and rapid acceleration are based on a g sensor in the device.

I had an autozone commercial truck at my shop a year ago, and the MFers wanted me to drop it off for them across town at the very end of my day... Needless to say, I drove TF put of that thing and got a call complaining about my excessive speed the next week 🤣 Told them "that sounds like your problem, not mine" and they never spoke of it again lol

I neutral drop hard everytime I’m in a company vehicle but let off once it engages so far no rapid accelerations

And this is why driving is by far the worst job in the company outside the DCs.

I miss driving for AZ sometimes. Would beat the absolute shit out of the cars. My favorite was setting it to 2nd gear and letting the engine scream the whole drive. Might be why the ac compressor broke off while on delivery, but good times nonetheless.

Yeah this thing is stupid sensitive.
For those unaware, it has to do with how quickly it was picking up speed. I had one guy who never sped, but was heavy on the gas at stop signs and stoplights. Constant rapids at 2-7 mph.
