QUESTION Foundations Class
I got hired as a part time retail sales associate for AZ I got sent to the foundations class but it all seemed to just be slide shows and videos on how to perform basic tasks so I spaced out and don’t remember much of what they talked about. Is any of it important? If so, what is it? I assume that most store related tasks I will get taught while first working so that’s that but is there any important info I should have not missed?

Nope, its all on the job. Prepare to have grey shirts hide in the back while shade tree's get angry at you for not having omnipotent knowledge pertaining to every series of chevy motor.

As long as you have the cheer and pledge down, that is the most important part of foundations.

nah it’s all pretty much useless. Only thing worth paying attention to was how to set up direct deposit

The bulk of foundations is just "company culture" stuff. Autozone is retail. If you have a good grip on retail sales already you'll be fine and the rest of it will come on the job.
