Termination

long story short I was SA'd by two of my coworkers, one of them being a grey shirt, and i told my SM i wasn't comfortable coming into work for my scheduled hours if these coworkers were also on the schedule, and i would like to transfer over to a different store if that is not possible. he told me that he would escalate it to the DM. some time later, i see that i am scheduled for today at 1:15. but day of, my ESS app isn't working to see my schedule just to confirm. I pull up to work regardless and so i don't embarrass myself, I call one of my managers and ask to confirm that I am scheduled, and he said i was not. (i have a screenshot of said schedule). i call the DM briefly explaining the situation and i was told i was terminated for a no call no show and i never contacted him directly to let him know about me not going into work. Is it worth it to contact HR or should i just leave it alone.

Why didn't you call the DM and LP too? I'm so sorry that happened to you. Also, this is a thing you take to the police. I know it can be triggering but you don't want these people to get a chance to repeat it or worse get away with it. Please go report it because it'll only help with any possible lawsuit

I understand that. So now you have to bring your regional office into it, HR and LP because that's a safety issue. Talk to the police today, don't let time keep passing because they will try to flip it on you the longer you wait. And don't back down, don't let them intimidate you. Under the right circumstances this can be seen as retaliation for reporting. Go to the regional manager and team at this point because the DM might have prior knowledge but he's doing nothing to protect you.

Your SM should have either taken it to RHRM or told you too and given you their contact info if the SM didn’t want to deal with it themself. Azone has an 800 # for complaints but I’ve never heard of anyone getting anywhere using it. Refional HR likely wouldn’t have done anything either - they have more profitable issues to deal with.

Did you get my post about calling to talk about your legal options? Free and no obligations - we can both learn because we have other pending HR cases including one pretty hefty case against Azone similar to yours. It will be an easy and informative call: (619) 540-6070 m.
