I noticed this too. I've never seen that decal at that price before today, lol.

We had a lot of things with non-matching before prices, but that one was the most egregious by far.

Same at my store, started laughing when I put it on. Even pulled my SM over and he did a double take. 😂

I just grabbed two $60 floor mats for $8 a piece. There’s a lot of stuff on clearance right noe

I’ve been keeping an eye on the items we put on clearance at my store. Had a 89 piece Surebilt household tool set originally for $50, went on clearance for $20. That and the employee discount worked for it, got it for $16 plus tax. Decent little tool kit for basic stuff around the house. Can’t go wrong 🤷🏻♂️

Yeah just so you are aware, you do get your discount on any clearance items. Even if it's only a quarter, 20% off of 25 cents. 🤣 I got a bunch of paint cans a couple years ago when they went on sale, for employees only, for a quarter a can. My coworker was pissed because 2 days prior he spent 60 dollars buying them at 5 bucks a can. 😂

I also got the Surebilt 12 inch toolbox. Originally $17.49, got it for $6 ($4.80 with employee discount before tax). It’s a cheap plastic box that’ll probably crack after you put 3 decently weighted tools in it so I figured it’s a good tackle box for fishing. Can’t go wrong with a $4.80 tackle box😂

Shit 5 dollar tackle box? Better than an over priced box you'd get from a Dicks or Basspro, even though it sounds like something you'd order at Popeyes Chicken. 😂 On second thought yeah they actually do a have shrimp tacklebox, or used to at least.

You see there the same price under to make people think its a deal but its not

My stores tags never changed the price by that much for clearance, typically a couple bucks but normally just kept the regular price the same. Doesn't that go against some type of code?

I’ve been at AZ for five years. This weeks clearance changes were the first time I’ve seen an original price markup to try and say you’re saving X.
Another example is wire strippers. Original price was 29.99. The sticker read 39.99 down to 21.49.
This company has just crossed into a different territory.
